At Trigone, ecology is one of the fundamental principles of our operation. It's an essential part of our daily activities. We strive to be considerate of the environment and to help people. Always and wherever possible. It doesn't require any special preparations or complicated procedures. You just need to be aware of your functioning in broader contexts, perceive the impact of your actions on your surroundings, and as a result, consciously change your approach. To work, and to life.
There are countless ways to be more eco-friendly. And it's never too late to start.
My Triangles are almost already For two years, we have been minimizing paper consumption and issuing only electronic invoices.
They are a valid accounting document if secured with an electronic signature. It works similarly with electronic contracts., which we are currently undergoing. And we're also working on electronic business cards. We have been separating waste for years, completely naturally and automatically. Partial home office was natural for us even before the pandemic, thus contributing to the reduction of our company's operating costs and burdening the environment much less in the long term.
What we are particularly proud of, however, is the fact that at Trigone we've been using refurbished IT equipment. We work with computers and laptops that someone has decommissioned or stopped using, even though they are still functional. We collaborate with the company Zebra Computers, which specializes in refurbishing IT equipment. We buy refurbished and repaired computers from them, and then either use them ourselves or donate them. This way, we save both the environment and our finances.
We have extensive experience in filling accounting positions. We know when and where to search, as well as whom to approach and how. In this case, we chose to reach out through a well-prepared advertisement and also directly contacted potential candidates. We worked with 23 candidates, of whom 18 were contacted to schedule an interview with one of our consultants. We presented 3 candidates to the client who, in our opinion, best met the requirements of the job position and the client's needs. From these 3 candidates for the accounting position, the company director selected a new employee immediately after the first rounds of interviews. The accounting position was successfully filled with our candidate starting on June 3, 2019.

As a result of this collaboration and our continuous desire to help, we have decided, in the context of current events, that in addition to providing assistance to arriving Ukrainian families, we will certainly not stop helping our own families. And so, a shared idea was born within us to create a call to companies, individuals, and our business partners to bring us their unused but functional laptops and computers. We will refurbish them for free at Zebra and donate them to up to 70 disadvantaged families. Sadly, many of them often cannot afford even basic school supplies for their children. The call is published on the website https://www.zebracomp.sk/ and with detailed information on how to proceed. We would be very happy if you join us and help us together with those who really need it.
